Join the global network of parents and caregivers from the psychedelic movement!
Mission:
Driven by the dream of collectively building a future in which all families are safe, welcome and integrated into the psychedelic space, Psychedelic Parenthood Community raises the voices of psychedelic parents and caregivers, fostering an inclusive community that embraces families of all kinds.
By creating a pioneering ecosystem focused on education and harm reduction, especially empowering social minorities, Psychedelic Parenthood Community aims to raise awareness of risks, enhance communication, stimulate scientific research and build a supportive network of parents and caregivers bonded by shared experiences.
Vision:
We envision a world where being part of a psychedelic family is free of stigma; a psychedelic field in which marginalized families are welcome and safe; a psychedelic science which takes children and adolescents more seriously; a society where psychedelic caregivers are protected and can share their experiences with safety and freedom; and community education which honors Indigenous traditions and cosmovisions.

The field of psychedelics is growing rapidly and finding ever greater acceptance. Thousands of the people making up this burgeoning movement are mothers, fathers, and caregivers to children.
Despite this, the needs, particularities, and contributions of this group are rarely discussed, and the topic of psychedelic parenthood is often seen as taboo.
This is disheartening considering the many ways psychedelic healing supports parents and caregivers in dealing with the challenging realities associated with child rearing, such as post-partum depression and parental stress.
Talking about this neglected topic is now more important than ever if we want to truly ensure the field is diverse, inclusive, and safe for everyone.
It is also a path through which we may learn from the indigenous forefathers and mothers of psychedelic medicine practices for whom familial and communal concerns have always been central, and whose rituals have always made space for children and families, and honoured pre- and post-natal processes.
Indigenous wisdom and our own experiences show us that educating children in a psychedelic community is also a chance to build a better, more inclusive society.
What We Do/Offer
We bring together parents from diverse settings and cultures across psychedelic medicine spaces to connect, share knowledge and experience, and communicate and collaborate through our community forum and events.
We hold online community gatherings including women’s circles, Q&A events with guest speakers, ceremonial and BIPOC and LGBTQI+ focused events.
We publish articles sharing ancestral wisdom, anthropological and scientific research, and psychedelic parenthood experiences.
We advocate for parents and caregivers across society and within the psychedelic field, giving voice to our varied perspectives and enabling our presence in psychedelic conferences and community spaces.
We advocate for children and adolescents, and their culturally and scientifically informed, community-based education.
